Ganeshotsav celebrated in ideal manner under guidance of HJS at Chopda

Jalgaon : Ganeshotsav was celebrated in an ideal manner by ‘Rani Lakshmibai Ganesh Mitra Mandal’ at Chopda under guidance of Hindu Janajagruiti Samiti (HJS) and Sanatan Sanstha.

How was the ideal Ganeshotsav celebrated ?

1. This ‘Mandal’ had installed ‘sattvika’ Ganesh idol made of clay.

2. ‘Aarti’ was recited twice every day in peaceful manner and in proper rhythm; therefore, devotees ‘bhav’ was invoked and they felt satisfied. Devotees said that they could get benefit of ‘chaitanya’ transmitted through singing of ‘aarti’ since it was sung as per science.

3. Girls were in traditional attire while participating in immersion procession. A procession was taken out amidst devotional songs and chanting. Devout Hindus showered flowers at the main chowks over the procession.

4. ‘Gulal’ was not showered during procession.

5. Immersion procession was started with prayer to Shri Ganaraya and was ended with paying gratitude.

6. Collective prayers were also made at the main chowks.

Such kind of procession was taken out for the first time in Chopda; therefore, various organizations and office bearers commended the ideal procession. Most of the people said that next year, they too would install a small idol made of clay.

‘Lazim’ squad formed by girls from Vivekananda School participating in the procession drew attention of everyone. Police Inspector Kisanrao Patil also had ‘darshan’ of Shri Ganesh, taken in ideal procession.
