Rashtravadi Shivsena, a non-political organization strongly agitated on 4th September against "Alishan Pakistan", an exhibition scheduled between 11th and 14th September organized by FICCI and TDAP of Pakistan. Outside Pragati Maidan, hundreds of the organization's activists set Pakistani flags afire. Activists were led by Shri. Jaybhagwan Goyal, the President of Rashtravadi Shivsena.

In his address to the pro-Hindu activists, Shri. Goyal said, "Nawaz Shareef met Indian PM in May this year which showed positive marks of a good relationship between the two countries. However, after that Pakistan has violated the ceasefire numerous times. With such incidents, Pakistan's playing double-standards is evident for the first time. Thousands of soldiers are working tirelessly to safeguard our borders from the enemy country and they, in any way, donot want the enemy country to be greeted on our soil. "

On this occasion, Rashtravadi Shivsena demanded to immediately stop this exhibition by presenting a representation to the PM, Home Minister, Commerce Minister, President of FICCI and the co-ordinator of Pragati Maidan.

New Delh – Vishwa Hindu Parishad today opposed a Lifestyle Exhibition called ‘Alishan Pakistan’ scheduled from Sept.11 in New Delhi. In his letter to the chairman FICCI, the state secretary General, VHP (Delhi) Shri Ram Krishna Srivastava said that, 'the sentiments of our citizens would hurt if you allow promotion of any product of the country, who is attacking Bharat by various means since its inception.'

Releasing letter to the media, the state Media incharge of VHP Shri Vinod Bansal said that, 'the citizens of Bharat could have allowed the exhibition in the name of “Terrorist Pakistan”, “Anarchist Pakistan” or “Kapot Pakistan” but not “Alishan Pakistan”. In its letter, VHP Delhi said that, “this exhibition would promote products of the country who is continuously attacking us directly and indirectly. The activities of last fifteen days are more intolerable wherein it is not only violating ceasefire but also promoting separatists on our own soil”. "If this exhibition is not cancelled, by calling Pakistan “Alishan” the Bullet, Gun and Jihadi Terror culture, which is reigning Pakistan, would be encouraged", he added

A copy of this letter has also been sent to the LG & the Commissioner of police NCT of Delhi alongwith the India Trade promotion organization in whose venue – Pragati Maidan, it is scheduled from 11th to 14th of this month. In the name of an initiative to normalize business & economic relations, FICCI in collaboration with the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is holding this 2nd edition of ‘Lifestyle Pakistan’ exhibition in New Delhi.

Exhibition will see a vast array of Pakistani fashion, textiles, jewellery, accessories, home textiles, furniture, marbles and agro products from over 150 exhibitors.
