Haliyal (Dharwad) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) held Hindu unification rally at ‘Maratha Bhavan’ on 2nd August which was attended by dignitaries like Shri. Gangadhar Kulkarni of Sriram Sena, Shri. Guruprasada of HJS and Kum. Priyanka Swami of Sanatan Sanstha.
More than 350 devout Hindus participated in this rally.
1. Shri. Gangadhar Kulkarni inaugurated rally by lighting the lamp. He said, “There is increase in cases of ‘love jihad’ and conversion of Hindus; owing to growing influence of western culture. Everyone needs to abide by Dharma to prevent such things.”
2. Shri. Guruprasada of HJS spoke on establishment of Hindu Rashtra and course of action to achieve this goal when he said that it was essential to fight back against injustice done to Hindus.
3. Kum. Priyanka Swami of Sanatan Sanstha, while narrating incidents of attacks on Hindu Dharma, said she said that Hindu Rashtra can be established if Hindus devote only one hour of their time every day for activities related to protection of nation and Dharma.
4. VCDs were shown to participants explaining importance of Hindu Dharma and need for Hindu channel etc.
5. Shri. Venkataraman Naik of HJS introduced various activities undertaken by HJS to members of audience.
