Shiv Sainiks submitting representation to Shri. Todkar, ‘Shirastedar’, Regional Office |
Miraj, 25th July – People of Arunachal Pradesh on the Indo-China border are presently living under duress; therefore, necessary measures should be taken by providing them security so as to increase their mental strength. The above demand was made by Shiv Sena by submitting a representation to Regional Office on 25th July through delegation comprising of Shri. Gajanan More and Shri. Kedar Gurav, Dy. City-Chief of Shiv Sena, besides Shri. Rahul Magdum, Sandeep Kadam, Vijay Jadhav, Ajay Pawar, ‘Utsav Committee’ Chief Shri. Anand Rajput led by Shri. Vikas Suryavanshi, Miraj City-Chief of Shiv Sena, in presence of other Shiv Sainiks.
It has been stated in the representation that ….
- Arunachal is located near our border with China and its population is more than 50,000. They are leaving the border area and going to other places, out of the fear of Chinese soldiers infiltrating Indian border and facing harassment at the latter's hands. Earlier, Chinese soldiers had caused trouble to shepherds in Ladakh.
- Earlier Government had devised a plan of Rs. 37,000 crores under which, roads and railway tracks were to be laid in Arunachal Pradesh; but this part on the border was not included in the plan. There is a dire need to join this part to the other parts of the State.
- Citizens from this border area should be recruited in Indian army and they should be made a part of our security system; only then the citizens will be able to live safely.
