Change of emblem of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti !

First, conduct the following experiment

1. Experiment: Look at the emblem of burning torch and flying saffron flag. Introspect to what you feel on looking both of them and then read the explanation below.


Answer: Looking at burning torch gives experience of power whereas looking at flying saffron flag gives experience of power and more happiness.

Since 14.7.2014, emblem of HJS has been changed from burning torch to flying saffron flag.

2. Explanation

a. Burning torch is a symbol of revolution and flying saffron flag is the symbol of victory after such revolution.

b. ‘Dhvaj (Flag)’ has a spiritual significance and it is associated with Hindu Dharma.

c. Looking at ‘Dhvaj’ awakens ‘Kshatra Tej’ and motivates to do ‘Dharma-karya’. Such ‘Dhvaj’ is inspiring and symbol of one who wants to be victorious; therefore, it is very much liked.

3. Overwhelming Responses received on HJS's official ‘Facebook’ account

On 15.7.2014, on the HJS’ official ‘Facebook’ account, the emblem of burning torch was replaced with flying saffron flag. Within next 8 minutes, more than 500 people liked the new emblem and in 72 hours, the count reached to 7600 likes.
