Will police dare to create such obstacles in programs organized by non-Hindus ?

Indur (Andhra Pradesh) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had organized a program on the occasion of ‘Guru-Pournima’ at Indur (Andhra Pradesh) but police tried to create obstacles in the same.

1. HJS had arranged a program at Government’s Rajeev Gandhi Hall on the occasion of Guru-Pournima.

2. All preparations for the program were done. Posters, banners were displayed at various places and door-to-door propagation of the program was done; necessary permission from the District Administration was also taken; still police came for inquiry of the program on the auspicious day.

3. Dy. Zonal police officer called activists of HJS and informed that call for ‘Telangana Bandh’ was given to protest against the central Government’s budget for not providing any financial aid to Telangana. In the said background, permission of city police was necessary. A letter seeking permission of police was given on behalf of HJS.

4. Police asked activists to once again give in writing, the details of the program including its nature, who the speakers are and people participating in the program etc.

5. HJS activists accordingly furnished necessary information; after which permission was granted. Two policemen were also sent on duty at the venue of the program, for security. ( How many people can be provided security by two policemen ? Were these policemen sent for security or for keeping an eye on the program, is a doubt ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat )
