Dismiss police staff who does not update their knowledge
by reading daily newspapers and watching news on TV channels !

On 17th April, a representation was given to a police station in one city for permission to stage demonstrations under the aegis of ‘Rashtreeya Hindu Andolan’. The police asked pro-Hindu activists to get municipality’s permission. On 18th April, a police inspector called a pro-Hindu activist of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). He went to the police station along with a devout Hindu. The conversation that took place between them is given below.

Police Inspector (PI) : Is there any proof of ‘Shankaracharya Hill’ being re-named as ‘Takhta-E-Suleiman’ ? What is the proof that it is Shankaracharya Hill ? (When it was claimed that Hazarat’s hair was missing, what was the proof that it was Hazarat’s hair ? If Hindus get a feeling that police intimidate only them because they are tolerant, will it be wrong ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat

Activist (A) : Archaeology Department has published the changed name on website; you can check. We have 100 % faith that it is Shankaracharya Hill. Nobody can question our faith.

PI : I have not come across anywhere about such change in name. You will stage demonstrations on road; use loudspeakers and tell people to wake up; don’t sleep; shout at top of your voice that hill’s name has been changed. It will cause communal disharmony and we do not want that. (Many cities and monuments have Islamic type of names. The original names of such cities or monuments were as per Hindu culture. The proposed agitation was not for changing of name but for preserving old name of the monument; so where is the question of communal problem ? It shows double standard of police that whatever Muslims do is right and what Hindus do, causes communal problem ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) You give a representation to District Collector; your job will be done. How can you stage demonstrations even before the name is changed ? (Neither the Government nor police say anything about fanaticism of Muslims; but give excuses to deprive ordinary citizens of exercising their right of holding demonstrations ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

A : Name has been changed that is why we are holding demonstrations. In case there is problem, we will not use loudspeakers. Many women and children take part in our demonstrations. We always hold demonstrations in lawful manner after taking necessary permission. Today is a public holiday and municipal office is closed on the occasion of Good Friday. We abide by law. Tomorrow, we will go to municipality office at 10.00 a.m. and take permission as today is holiday for them. We will not do anything that will cause communal problem. We will be staging demonstrations only for two hours and that too, in peaceful manner. I give my word to you; but please give permission.

PI : You want to do something for the thing which does not exist. You give representation to District Collector; he will know the topic; and suppose, the name is changed, how does it going to matter ?

A : If someone changes the nameplate displayed outside our home, will one not think before entering own house ? Kashmiri pundits have left Kashmir. If the names of Hindus’ places of worship are changed to Islamic names, Kashmiri pundits will think twice before going back to Kashmir and will be under tension. This will go on and spread everywhere right to our homes; should we not stop it ? [PI heard this and issued a notice to the activist which was accepted by the activist.] (Congratulations to activist who gave frank reply to police officer ! Police are issuing notices to pro-Hindu activists who want to stage demonstrations in lawful manner. Are such police of India or of Pakistan ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Devout Hindu (H) : HJS is not staging demonstrations but we ‘Hindutvavadis’ are going to hold demonstrations. You can arrest us. What happened when riots were instigated at Azad Maidan ? You don’t mind such riots ? (Congratulations to devout Hindu who frankly presented Hindus’ side before police ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

PI : Did you see what happened at Azad Maidan ? What is true ?

A : I was in Mumbai at that time. Raza Academy’s members not only beat up policemen but also beat lady police staff. Police officer Krushnaprakash was on the stage. Police have its video-shooting. Everyone knows about it. We Hindus, never do and will not do such things; agitation will be staged in lawful manner; but police do not take note of it.

H : HJS has lighted the flame. Its work is done; now, we will see how the flame is to be carried forward.

Then HJS activist gave a letter to police that he would not join the demonstrations as he was given notice; but if other organizations held demonstrations, he would not be responsible for the same. The PI was not ready to give acknowledgement of this letter; but after some time, he signed it. (Police are afraid to give even simple acknowledgement to Hindus; but are prompt in issuing notices to them. Pro-Hindu activists are seeking legal advice for taking action against such police with double standard. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

H : We are not afraid of getting arrested for Dharma. If you want to arrest us, you can. Tomorrow, lot of young men will be coming.
