Kerala : Overwhelming response to exhibition by HJS and Santan Sanstha

Report of HJS & Sanatan Sanstha exhibition at 44th All Kerala conference of Pushpaka Seva Sangham at Alapuzha, Kerala

The 44th ‘All Kerala conference of Pushpaka Seva Sangham’ was organised at Cherthala, Alapuzha from 11th to 13th May 2012. About 1200 people participated in this conference. Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti jointly organised an exhibition at this conference which received an overwhelming response. Books on spirituality and Dharma were displayed at this venue. Also flexes on correct way of temple worship, Achardharma, importance of having a sattvik diet, etc were put on display.

The president of the Sangham Dr. Pradeep Jeothi, speaking about the exhibiton  of HJS said, ‘This exhibition of flex  is a very good venture of Hindu Janajaruti Samti and is the need of the hour. I was on the look out for a such a thing for a long time’.

Highlights of the program

  • Many youth were attracted to the stall and were seen purchasing books on spirituality also.
  • Those people who purchased some sattvik products were seen coming back after sometime, bringing few more people to the stall.
  • A person who purchased Sanatan fragrance (attar) from the stall, came back after sometime and said, ‘ I purchased attar from the Gulf for about 600 rupees, the fragrance of which does not last much. But your attar of just Rs 20 is so good, that the fragrance last for a long time’.
  • The president of the Sangham and others helped the activists of HJS in arranging the exhibition.

At the closing ceremony of the program, Mr. Balakrishnan of HJS felicitated Dr. Pradeep Jeothi, for giving them an opportunity in arranging such an exhibition and thus participating in the spread of Dharma.
