Change of language can lead to conversion and change of religion to loss of freedom

Dombivali (Maharashtra): Nations like France and Germany have progressed on the strength of use of their national languages; but we are trying to progress on the basis of language of the British which is a paradox. It is more beneficial to impart education in one’s mother tongue because change of language can lead to conversion and change of religion can lead to loss of independence. The above views were expressed by renowned National ‘Keertankar’ Dr. Sadchidanand Shevade while addressing Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) in Dharmaveer Anand Dighe Hall in Gandhinagar. The ‘sabha’ was attended by about 150 devout Hindus.

Mrs. Alpana Joshi of Sanatan Sanstha and Mr. Prasad Vadake of HJS also addressed the audience and kindled ‘Dharma-tej’ in them. Mr. Prasad Vadake made an appeal to get ‘Dharmashikshan’ and spend every precious moment of life for Dharma. HJS felicitated Mr. Ravindra Chavan, BJP MLA, Mr. Nandu Parab of Panchayat Samiti, Mr. Baban Pagare, the founder of Shivai Balak Mandir, Mr. Bandu Patil, the Grampanchayat member of Shiv Sena from Ajadegaon and Mr. Gurunath Lote, former Sarpanch of Shiv Sena from Davadigaon on the occasion.

The ‘sabha’ began with recitation of ‘Veda-mantras’ by Veda-murti Shri. Krushnachandra Puranik and Shri. Kedar Parekar. Mrs. Vedika Palan of Sanatan Sanstha spoke about Sanatan’s Gurukul which has been set up and is committed to nurture Saints for managing the divine kingdom in future. Mr. Kartik Salunkhe did compeering of the ‘sabha’. The ‘sabha’ was concluded with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ by Mrs. Bhakti Kulkarni. Mr. Mahesh Mulik of HJS presented an overview of HJS activities. A review meeting will be held on 23rd April at 7.00 p.m. at Sri Swaminarayan Mandir, Gandhinagar to decide about future course of action for Hindu unity.
