Sambhajinagar: 2750 Hindus attend Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha

Sambahjinagar (Maharashtra): Hindu women should inculcate values of Hinduism in their children. A mother switched over to wearing a 5-yard saree from a 9-yard saree; then she switched to churidar and now to gown. There has to be control of men for ‘Dharmacharan’ as per Indian culture; because Indian culture is patriarchal. The concept of family system is disintegrating. Everybody should read the book on ways of dressing published by Sanatan Sanstha. We should dress according to our culture. Muslims never feel awkward to wear caps; then why should Hindus be embarrassed to apply ‘tila’ on their forehead? Swatantryaveer Savarkar is a symbol of honour for this country and it is very unfortunate that he was not paid homage in the Parliament. The above views were expressed by Mrs. Aparna Ramteerthkar, a social activist from Solapur in her address. She was guiding 2750 devout Hindus who attended Dharmajagruti Sabha held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at Rajiv Gandhi Maidan, Gulmohar Colony, N-5, CIDCO.

The ‘sabha’ was also addressed by Mr. Ramesh Shinde, the spokesperson  of HJS for Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa States and Mr. Abhay Vartak, the spokesperson of Sanatan Santha. The ‘sabha’ was started with blowing of a conch and recitation of Sree Ganesha strotra. Veda-murti Pankaj Lakshmanrao Deshpande, Vedamurti Amol Kulkarni, Acharya Bhushan Kulkarni and Acharya Shriniwas Puranik recited ‘Veda-mantras’ followed with lighting of lamps by the dignitaries. Mrs. Rohini Joshi, a representative of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ from Sambhajinagar was felicitated on the occasion.

The mass media like ‘IBN Lokmat’ channel are taking no notice of incidents where Hindus are oppressed, their temples are damaged; in fact, they are even refusing to accept the proofs of these incidents. If such incidents had happened with followers of other religions, there would have been competition among the channels to ‘break’ such news. It is very unfortunate that atrocities against Hindus are ignored and Hindus are deceived under the name of secularism.

The soldiers were taught ‘Yoga’ in USA and they have become healthy. There is immense power in ‘Yoga’. Shiv Sena and Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation deserved to be lauded for their efforts to change the name of Aurangabad to Sambhajinagar. The proposed anti-Hindu Act to eradicate superstitions will, in fact, put curbs on ‘Dharmacharan’ of Hindus and Hindus should oppose this Act. Swami Vivekananda explained the supremacy of Hindu Dharma by adopting saffron robes. How can such saffron Dharma advocate terrorism? Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj established Hindavi Swarajya (Hindu Kingdom) despite rule of 5 different kings. We, 100 crores of Hindus can definitely create a Hindu Nation. Everyone should devote some time for activities related to protection of Dharma.
