Shahapur : Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held successfully

Shahapur (Dist. Thane, Maharashtra): Many Hindu-haters are trying to eliminate Hindu Dharma and Hindus. There have been attacks on Hindu Dharma in various forms; but all Hindus need to unite to foil such attempts. There have been demons like Kansa, Ravana, Aurangzeb etc. in the past and they will be there even in future; but the Almighty would not spare them. The above fiery views were expressed by Bharatacharya Professor S. G. Shevade.

Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha was held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) on the grounds of G. V. Khade School with an expansive perspective of establishment of Hindu Nation. About 600 devout Hindus attended the meet that began with lighting of lamp by Prof. Shevade. Mrs. Alpana Joshi of Sanatan Sanstha and Mr. Prasad Vadake of HJS were also present on the dais and addressed the ‘sabha’. Mr. Vinod Palan of HJS introduced the members of audience to various activities undertaken by HJS. Miss Anita Mulik did compering of the ‘sabha’. Resolutions were passed against attacks on Hindu Dharma among resounding acclamation of ‘Har Har Mahadev’. The ‘sabha’ ended with singing of ‘Vande Mataram’.

Prof. Shevade said regarding DSP that ‘it publishes news which are not published by any other newspapers. There are no advertisements in this paper.  Everybody should subscribe to this periodical/ newspaper.’

1. HJS members were collecting chairs after the ‘sabha’ got over. Many ‘jidnyasu’ women helped them.
2. Some members of audience recorded the speeches of Prof. Shevade and Mr. Vadake.
3. Prof.  Shevade joined the participants in raising slogans from his seat on the stage

Review meeting

A follow up meeting of those interested in taking part consequent to the ‘sabha’ will be held on 13th February 2011, Sunday at 5.00 p.m. in Lakshmi Narayan Temple.
