Hinduism is a matter of existence as also life and death for Hindus – Arvind Kulkarni

Vasai (Maharashtra) : In 1581, 9400 Hindus were converted to Christianity. Those Hindus were our ancestors. That time thousands of Hindus were banished from Vasai. Chimaji appa had said while fighting with the British that ‘if you cannot fight by becoming like cannons then behead me and throw my head in the cannon.’ Many people were inspired with his statement. Today, in many countries like USA, Japan, China, Korea, England etc. people are developing interest in Hinduism. The interest in learning ‘Sanskrut’ is also growing. Following Hinduism is an answer to global warming because it follows the nature. Hinduism is a question of existence as also life and death for Hindus. Swatantryaveer Savarkar had said that Hindus had every right to establish a Hindu Nation in the solar system. Hindu Dharma helps everyone to progress, said Mr. Arvind Kulkarni, a senior journalist, appealing to converts for switching back to Hindu Dharma.

On 2nd January, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had organized ‘Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha’ on the grounds ‘Sainagar Maidan’ of Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation at Vasai (West) at 6.00 p.m. Mr. Kulkarni addressed the ‘sabha’ that was attended by about 750 devout Hindus. Mr. Narendra Surve of HJS and Mr. Rajendraprasad Bhogale of Sanatan Sanstha were the other dignitaries who addressed the ‘sabha’ and expressed their fiery views on establishment of a Hindu nation. The ‘sabha’ began with blowing of conch followed with recitation of ‘veda-mantras’ by Mr. Vijay Joshi Guruji of ‘Saint Sri Dnyaneshwar Veda Vidya Pratishthan’. Mr. Arvind Kulkarni then lighted the lamp and Mr. Sadanand Panchal presented an overview of HJS activities undertaken throughout the world.

The other dignitaries attending the ‘sabha’ were

  • Veda-murti Mr. Dhananjay Vaidya shastri, the President of Sri Sri Jagatguru Shankaracharya Mahasansthan Purvamla Sri Govardhan Peetham
  • Mr. Shekhar Dhuri, the Treasurer, BJP, Thane District
  • Mr. Vivek Pandit, MLA, Vasai
  • Mr. Navnath Gurav, the Editor of a daily ‘Shoshitanche Samarthan’
  • Mr. Ravikant Nikam, Zonal Minister of Vishwa Hindu Parishad
  • Mr. Vivek Patil, Shiv Sena Taluka Chief

Sanatan Sanstha wants to preserve the tradition of sages

While praising Sanatan Sanstha, Mr. Kulkarni said, “The ‘Purohits’ have preserved the ‘Veda-mantras’, treasure of the supreme literature in the world by practicing it verbally, without carrying out any changes and preserved the ‘vedas’; but the Government is conspiring to destroy our ‘Vaidik culture’.

The Government is also trying to harass H. H. Dr. Jayant Balaji Athavale, Sanatan Sanstha as he is like a sage and belongs to the tradition of sages. Such things happen with those who want the Nation to progress. Sage Dadhichi had offered his bones for the welfare of Nation and Dharma. Sanatan Sanstha wants to preserve this Sage system and therefore, I have immense respect for him.”
