HJS and other organizations opposing Dr. Zakir Naik in lawful manner

1. Representations were submitted many times demanding ban on ‘Peace’ TV channel ! 

Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has sent representations to the Central Government on several occasions demanding ban on ‘Peace’ TV channel run by Dr. Zakir Naik.

2. Complaints were lodged with police by ‘Hindutvavadis’ against Dr. Zakir Naik for insulting Shri Ganesha and Hindus !

In the year 2012, Hindu-hater Dr. Zakir Naik had posted on Facebook during Ganesha Festival that how would Shri Ganesha know that you were in danger if your God didn’t know His own son. The post became viral, hurting religious sentiments of millions of Hindus and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) along with various Ganesh Festival committees from Mumbai and Pune; besides ‘Hindutvavadis’ and with Shiv Sena and BJP at Panvel, lodged complaints with police stations against him.   

3. Complaints lodged at 6 places in Goa ! 

In 2012, 6 complaints were lodged against Dr. Naik in Goa during 2012 for hurting religious sentiments of Hindus during Ganesh Festival.   

4. International Islamic Conference cancelled at Mumbai and Thane 

Pro-Hindu organizations along with HJS forced to cancel annual international Islamic Conference held in December at Somayya Ground, Chunabhatti in Mumbai by staging demonstrations and submitting representations. The same program was therefore, decided to be held by him at Mumbra (Thane) which is a citadel of fanatics between 14th and 23rd December 2012; but huge agitation was staged at Thane and representation was submitted to Police Commissioner demanding cancellation of that conference. The demand was accepted by police and permission was not granted for the program. The organizers of the program had to remove posters advertising about the program. HJS had at that time strongly demanded arrest of Dr. Zakir and imposition of ban on him from going anywhere in India.  

5. Karnataka police ban Dr. Zakir Naik from going to Mangaluru after opposition of pro-Hindu organizations !   

Karnataka police had imposed ban on Hindu-hater Dr. Zakir Naik from going to Mangaluru in connection with his lecture organized by ‘Dakshin Kannada Salafi’ movement at Nehru Ground on 3rd January 2016. All pro-Hindu organizations had opposed to that program staging demonstrations led by HJS. Considering such strong public opinion, police imposed ban on Dr. Naik from going to Mangaluru between 31st December 2015 and 6th January 2016.  

Demand to take action against Dr. Naik through Rashtriya Hindu Andolan

Demonstrations were staged under aegis of ‘Rashtriya Hindu Andolan’ by pro-Hindu organizations from all over India to take action against Dr. Zakir Naik.
