Mumbai : The Gynavapi Shivalinga in Kashi is highly revered by Hindus. We will obtain the Shivalinga through worship. Shri Ramjanmabhoomi was given in Ayodhya, but we will not compromise for Gyanvapi Shivalinga. Not only the Gyanvapi Shivalinga but wherever temples have been demolished and mosques erected, we will reclaim all the temples. The pen is mightier than the sword. We will not compromise even 1 inch of land to obtain Gyanvapi Shivalinga, Supreme Court advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, who fought the case on behalf of Hindus for the Gyanvapi Shivalinga, expressed the sentiments of all devout Hindus. The Marathi translation of the English book ‘Waiting for Shiva: Unearthing the Truth of Kashi’s Gyanvapi’ by well-known Hindu writer Vikram Sampat was released on May 18. He was speaking at this ceremony. The program was held at Raja Shivaji College, Dadar (East).

On this occasion, the author of the book, Vikram Sampat, the Marathi translator of the book Dr Prachi Jambhekar and Ms Maitreyi Joshi were present. The program was presided over by senior journalist and writer Mr Sudhir Joglekar. This time Dr Prachi Jambhekar Interviewed Mr Vikram Sampat and Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain. Advocate Jain said, “I have seen the Gyanvapi Shivalinga. This Shivalinga has been broken and cemented over it to give it the form of a fountain, but the Shivalinga and the cement construction on it look different. Scientific testing will reveal this truth. A case in this regard is pending in the Supreme Court. Some Hindus argue that ‘this Shivalinga cannot be worshipped because it is broken’; however, it is permissible to worship the broken Shivalinga in the 5-kosa area of Kashisthana. We have religious feelings towards Gyanvapi Shivalinga. This case is a path of devotion for us. We are fighting this case out of devotion unto Deity Shiva.”

False stories of the demolition of Kashi Vishweshwara temple were propagated – Vikram Sampat

Meaningless stories of the demolition of the Kashi Vishweshwar temple were propagated during the Congress period. The false story of Aurangzeb demolishing the temple at the insistence of the Rajput kingdom was spread because the priests of the Kashi Vishweshwar temple raped the queens of the Rajput kings.

Telling a lie repeatedly makes it seem true. If Aurangzeb demolished the Kashi Vishweshwar temple at the behest of the Rajputs, then on whose behest were Somnath’s and Mathura’s temples demolished ? Even if Aurangzeb came out of the grave and told us ‘Why he destroyed the temple of Kashi Vishweshwara’, the deluded Hindus would not believe it. From this book, the true history of Kashi Vishweshwar and Gyanvapi Shivalinga will surface before everyone.
