Tiles with Hindu Deities' pictures removed in Panvel

Hindus, pay gratitude to God for this success 

 
Panvel (Maharashtra): Tiles with coloured pictures of Hindu deities and saints were fitted on the walls in staircase of ‘the Karnala Sahakari Bank’ near Tapal Naka. After members of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) created awareness about denigration of Deities and Saints taking place in this manner, the tiles have been removed by the bank.

On 30th June, Shri. Shriram Kane, spokesperson of HJS for Raigad district and Shri. Bapu Raokar, its member called on Shri. Vivek Patil, MLA and President of the bank and Shri. Hemant Sutane, its executive Manager and explained to them about the denigration of Deities and Saints caused in this manner. Shri. Patil and Shri. Sutane agreed with the views and on 4th July, the tiles were removed. HJS is grateful to Shri. Vivek Patil and Shri. Sutane for taking prompt action and preventing further denigration of Deities.
