Bangladesh : Critically injured Alok Sen, leader of Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Oikya Parishad, has been brought to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early Wednesday.

Alok, the incumbent general secretary of the organisation in Faridpur unit, was attacked by unidentified miscreants with sharp weapons in front of his residence in Kamalapur area of Faridpur town on Tuesday afternoon.

Earlier on Tuesday, Two young men called Alok out of the home and hacked him indiscriminately around 4:00pm in front of his house, leaving him critically injured, said the Alok’s wife Shikha Sen.

Sensing the danger, locals rushed to the spot and whisked him to a local hospital first and then to Faridpur Medical College and Hospital (FMCH).

However, the motives of the attack could not be known as Alok said to media that he had no clue about the attack.
