Meat and liquor sale will be stopped if Pandharpur Town Council passes such resolution ! – Eknath Khadase

Revenue Minister Eknath Khadase performs ‘puja’ of Shri. Vitthal on the occasion of Kartiki Ekadashi !

Hindus expect the Govt. to take initiative for banning sale of liquor and meat !

Pandharpur (Dist. Solapur) : Resolution, if passed by Pandharpur Town Council, to ban sale of liquor and meat, it will be implemented, clarified Shri. Eknath Khadase during his visit to Pandharpur on the occasion of ‘Kartiki Ekadashi’ for ‘Mahapuja’ of Shri. Vitthal. He was asked by a reporter of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ during a press conference whether ban would be imposed on sale of liquor and meat even at Haridwar and Rhushikesh, he gave the above clarification. Shri. Khadase, accompanied by his wife, performed ‘puja’ of Shri. Vitthal on 22nd November; on the day of ‘Kartiki Ekadashi’. He said further, “The Government has not yet received any proposal for permanent ban on liquor.” District Collector Tukaram Mundhe and other administrative officers were present on the occasion.
