Cancel ‘Shaan-e-Pakistan’ program to be held in Delhi !

Nasik (Maharashtra) : Pakistan has been constantly creating disturbance in India and killing innocent citizens; therefore, it should not be allowed to hold programs like ‘Shaan-e-Pakistan’, is the demand made by Hindutvavadis through a petition submitted to the District Collector of Nasik.

Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) and ‘Barati Pakistan’ are jointly holding programs like ‘Shaan-e-Pakistan’ and ‘Ek Shaam Pakistan ke Naam’, between 10th and 12th September 2015 at the Grand Hotel, Vasant Kunj.

Patriotic citizens are registering protest against these programs.

A delegation of Hindutvavadis submitted a petition to District Collector, Shri. Deependra Singh Kushwah which was accepted by Dy. District Collector Shri. Kakuste. The delegation comprised of activists of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Sanatan Sanstha and devout Hindus.

It has been stated in the representation that ….

1. It has been time and again proved that Pakistan has always been involved in every incident of unrest in India; be it firing on border or cutting off heads of our soldiers or sponsoring terrorism.

2. On one hand, we say that Pakistan should be given an apt reply; in the same language to get applause from citizens and on the other hand, we are allowing Pakistan’s players and artistes to come here and hold programs; thus insulting sacrifices made by innocent citizens of this country.

3. It has been our past 67 years’ experience that having discussions with Pakistan or allowing singing programs by their artistes or playing matches by cricketers have helped in no way. Even earlier, Pakistan has been allowed to hold EXPOs but that has never changed Pakistan’s stand towards India. It is therefore, naïve and self-destructive optimism that relations between the two countries would improve by holding such programs. In fact, allowing such exhibition is like encouraging and supporting enemy country; therefore, the new Government should keep aside policies of earlier Government and give a befitting reply to Pakistan and honour patriotic sentiments of all Indians.
