Pune : Meetings held with elected representatives under HJS’ Drives

HJS’ Drives – ‘Celebrate Ganesh festival ideally’ and ‘Cancel Shaan-e-Pakistan Exhibition’ !

Representation submitted for prevention of celebration of Ganesh festival against ‘Dharma-shaastra’ and cancellation of ‘Shaan-e-Pakistan’ programme, scheduled at Delhi

Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune (Maharashtra) : So-called environmentalists are opposing traditional way of immersing Ganesh idols in flowing water by equating it with pollution.

Ganesh-devotees are forced at many places to donate their idols or immerse them in water tanks erected by spending crores of rupees. All acts against ‘Dharmashastra’ like donating idols and immersion of idols in water tanks etc. should be stopped; and exhibition proposed to be held at Delhi between 10th and 12th September 2015 called ‘Shaan-e-Pakistan’ and a ‘qawali’ program should be cancelled.

Petition was submitted for the above demands by meeting Shiv Sena’s MP, MLA, municipal councilors and NCP municipal councilors at Pimpri-Chinchwad.
