Converts do not have faith in foreign religions and prefer Hindu names ! – devout Hindu Shri. Menon

Kochi : Converted Christians take up names like Amala, Vimala, Nirmala, Vimaljyoti, Amaljyoti Mahesh, Parameshwar etc. which shows that they have not been able to adjust to the new religion. Christian missionaries are openly using names like Ved, Christ-Chaalisa, Yeshu-Sahsranaam (thousand names of Jesus) etc. thus attacking Hindu Dharma. Hindu customs and traditions are branded as superstitions; but others are copying our traditions, singing ‘bhajans’ etc. On one TV channel, there was a Christian missionary named Srinivasan who was criticizing Hindu Dharma. How can all this be allowed? These converts have still no faith in their foreign religion; therefore, they stick to Hindu names.

Syro Malabar church has asked missionaries to use Christian names instead of Hindu names !

News has been published in ‘Malayalam Manorama’s issue dated 27th April about Syro Malabar church asking missionaries working under their jurisdiction to use Christian names instead of Hindu names.
