Nasik (Maharashtra) : A youth had drawn ‘tri-colour’ on his cheek on the occasion of Independence Day; who was among few college students visiting the exhibition held jointly by Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) at Nasik on the occasion of Simhastha Parva on ‘Protection of nation and Dharma-education’.

It was observed that one boy had drawn ‘tri-colour’ on his cheek. Activists of HJS explained to him about abuse of national flags by showing boards displayed at the exhibition.

After that, he erased the flag drawn on his cheek and said that he didn’t know the seriousness of the subject and he had drawn it because it was Independence Day. He said that, now he knew it was an insult of the National Flag and he will not do this again in future.
