Pune (Maharashtra) : Intense demonstrations were staged demanding ban on screening of anti-Hindu film ‘Dharam Sankat mein’; withdrawal of Certificate of release issued to this film and producers and director of the film be asked to render public apology to all Hindus.

On 12th April, demonstrations were staged in front of Sambhaji Udyan on Junglee Maharaj Road. More than 100 activists from different organizations viz. Shri. Vijay Gawade of ‘Patit-Pavan Saanghatana’, Shri. Parag Gokhale of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), Shri. Niranjan Date from Sanatan Sanstha, Shri. Amit Joshi, the President of ‘Shiva-vandana Mahasangh’, Shri. Vijay Kasture and many devout Hindus participated in the demonstrations.
