Make a note that fanatic artist Akram Husain, who disgracefully denigrates Hindus’ Deities, does not draw indecent pictures of Prophet Mohammad !

Case filed by ‘Hindu Legal Cell’ against fanatic artist

A painting by Akram Hussain seemingly depicting Lord Krishna with semi nude Gopis at the State Art Gallery, Rabindra Bhawan in Guwahati on Wednesday is creating controversy within sections of the society. Critics and fanatics have denounced his work as sacrilege.

Guwahati (Assam) : A drawing by anti-Hindu artist Akram Husain disgracefully denigrating Bhagavan Shrikrushna was kept on display at the exhibition held at State Art Gallery, Guwahati. Shri. Dharmendra Dev, the Convener of ‘Hindu Legal Cell’ of Assam had lodged a complaint with police about hurting religious sentiments of Hindus. (Congratulations to devout Hindus for taking prompt action to stop harm caused to Dharma ! Muslims directly take law in their hands whenever their religious sentiments are hurt. Hindus, however, follow legal path to register protest and their demands are always disregarded. If religious sentiments of Hindus are continued to be hurt in such manner and if Hindus take law in their hand in future, the rulers, police and Government Administration will be responsible for the same ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prahat)

Police have filed a case under clause 34 and 295 (A) of Indian Penal Code, against Husain and the officers of Art Gallery for keeping such denigrating picture on exhibit.

On 8th April, a photo of the denigrating painting by Husain was published in the issue of daily newspaper ‘Kolkata Post’. In this painting, half nude women are shown around Bhagavan Shrikrushna in a liquor bar. This has hurt religious sentiments of billions of Hindus. Shri. Dharmedra Dev, Shri. Rajendra Dev and Shri. Jyotirmoy Nath of ‘Hindu Legal Cell’ requested police to take stringent action against the fanatic artist and officer of Art Gallery for granting permission to keep such denigrating picture on exhibit. Police promised to take necessary action after investigations. Activists of few pro-Hindu organizations staged demonstrations against the denigrating painting; therefore, it was removed from the exhibition.

Hindus need to keep note of Hindu-hatred of Assam Government !

Guwahati Art Gallery is owned by Assam State Government and the exhibition was jointly held by the fanatic artist and Art Gallery keeping the denigrating picture on display. (Those granting permission for Hindus’ festivals and religious programs, do so; paying due consideration to sentiments of non-Hindus; but have total disregard for Hindus’ religious sentiments. Denigration of seats of worship of Hindus is increasing due to lack of unity amongst Hindus ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
