Ram is neither God nor a monogamous : Prof. K. S. Bhagawan

Prof. Bhagawan, implementing a one-point programme to promote progressiveness, repeating a contemptuous statement humiliating Hindus !

O Hindus ! Rebuke those hurting your religious sentiments by getting united and oppose them in such a way that the Government would be forced to take action against them !

Davangere (Karnataka) : ‘Shriram, a Deity of worship of Hindus is neither God nor a monogamous’, such a statement, hurting Hindus’ religious sentiments was made by heretic Prof. K. S. Bhagawan.

He was speaking in a programme jointly organised by ‘Bahujan Vidyarthi Sangh’ and Savitribai Phule Prakashan’. In this matter, a complaint has been lodged against 4 people including Prof. Bhagawan in Davangere police station. A complaint has also been lodged against Prof. Bhagawan in Madiwal police station at Bengaluru. (The so-called progressive elements in the society get recognition only when they criticise Deities, else nobody would takes their cognisance. They remain in the delusion that the backward community would be emancipated only when Hindus’ Deities and seats of faith are criticised. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

Prof. Bhagawan further said, “Nowhere in the epic ‘Ramayana’, written by Maharshi Valmiki, Ram is said to be God. He was a human. When Sage Valmiki himself said that Ram enjoyed with other women by consuming alcoholic drinks, how can he be called monogamous ?” (Would Prof. Bhagawan be able to provide evidence in this regard if he were to be prosecuted in the Court of law ? Probably, he may not be aware how panicky Mr Purushottam Khedekar, who writing in indecent manner about Brahmans and Brahman women, became when he was pulled in the Court for his writings. Various devout Hindu organisations demand immediate arrest of heretic Prof. Bhagawan !

Shivamogga (Karnataka) : A demand to immediately arrest Prof. Bhagawan, heaping insults on Shrimadbhagwadgita, a seat of faith for crores of Hindus was made to the Government by various devout Hindu organisations participating in the agitation led by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.

The agitations were held in shivmoga, Vijaypur (Vijapur) and Hubli in protest against the insult of Shrimadbhagwadgita by Prof. Bhagawan, A delegation of Samiti submitted a representation to the District Collector.

The representation stated, ” Prof. Bhagawan is making anti-Hindu statements one after the other. However, the Congress Government, boasting itself as secular is not taking any action against Prof. Bhagawan. As a result, Hindus are extremely enraged. The Government should take immediate cognisance and arrest him.”

Organisations such as Shriram Sene, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Kannada Rakshan Vedike, etc. participated in this agitation.
