Tamil Nadu Govt indifferent towards ancient Hindu temples

Rulers paying no attention to dilapidated ancient Hindu temples are anti-Hindus !

Chennai : There is an ancient 300 years old temple of Shri Preminadhar and Tripurasundari in Dachankurichi village, Lalgudi area of Tiruchy district in Tamil Nadu State. There are idols of Vinayagar, Shri. Muruga, Chandikeshwar, Durgadevi, Dakshin-murty, Nava-graha etc. in this temple. The main idol in this temple is ‘Svayambhu (self-originated)’. The population of this village is 5000. Deities in this temple are Kul-Devata (family Deities)’ of many people from this village. The temple has not been looked after for many years and is in dilapidated condition; therefore, all idols have been shifted to one room. The local residents have made an appeal to the State Government for carrying out repairs and renovation of this temple so as to revive its past glory. (It is very unfortunate that Hindus have to demand for repairs and renovation of ancient temples although Hindus are majority in this country ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
