NGO’s in Thane appeal against conversion of tribals

By Staff Reporter

Thane (Maharashtra):
Taking advantage of the ignorance and illiteracy of the tribals the Christian priests have been converting them to Christianity. As per a memorandum presented by the Bhumisena and Adivasi Ekta Parishad to the governor strict action should be taken against them. This is being done by luring the tribals in Vada, Javhar, Dahanu, Palghar and Bhivandi talukas in Thane district in various ways. President of the Bhumisena Shri. Kaluram Dhondade and office bearer of the Adivasi Ekta Parishad, Shri. Datta Karvat and Shri. Shashikant Shanvat have protested against this and appealed to the authorities to take strict action against these missionaries. (We applaud the Bhumisena and the Adivasi Ekta  Parishad  which remained vigilant and recognised the hidden agenda of conversion of the Christian missionaries. O Hindus, wholeheartedly support Shri. Kaluram Dhondade, Shri. Datta Karvat and Shri. Shashikant Shanvat and their organisations and protect our tribal brethren from the demoniacal Christians with religious ambitions. – Editor)
