Devout Businessmen like this are necessary all over !

Sangli (Maharashtra) – Having realised that firecrackers cause air and sound pollution, more than 10 businessmen at Harbhat Road here are not burning crackers for the last more than 10 years. While talking about it, Mr. Ajit Killedar of ‘Gayatry Hosiery’ said that, 10 years ago, Mr. Vardhaman Bhagate of Bhagate Steel Centre, Mr. Vijay Malani of Sri Devi Matching Centre, Mr. Avinash Kulkarni of ‘Ashok Typing Bureau’, Mr. Rambhau Kulkarni of D.K. Son’s Pharma, Mr. Vasant Gulavani of Gadre Tea Company, Mr. Kolhatkar of Emotions, and some others took the decision of not firing crackers with a view to celebrate ‘Pollution-free Diwali’ and we have been following it ritually till today. We are of the opinion that we must begin with ourselves instead of giving only lecture on protecting pollution. We also suggest to our customers visiting our shops, not to burn firecrackers.
