VHP and Bajarang Dal warn of strong agitation

Nagpur (Maharashtra): Demonstrations were staged with ‘ringing of bells’ on behalf of VHP and ‘Mutt, Mandir Adhigrahan Virodhi Samiti’ of Bajarang Dal against the proposed ‘Temple take-over’ Act.
       
Hind Swaraj Abhiyan, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Ganatantra ki Awaz, Tejaswini Vichar Manch, Rashtra sevika Samiti along with trustees, members of many temples and Hindu Organizations and devout Hindus participated in the demonstrations. VHP and Bajarang Dal also warned the Government that they would intensify their agitations if the Government does not withdraw the proposed ‘Temple take-over’ Act immediately. The demonstrations were held at six places in Nagpur. Leaders of many organizations addressed the gatherings. Shri. Hemant Jambhekar, Vidarbha Pradesh Mantri of VHP said that the Govt. is trying to take over management of temples and lay its hands on their funds although majority of Hindus are in the Government. All Hindus must unite to oppose the said Act. He has also planned to visit Shegaon on foot and acquire blessings of  Saint Gajanan Maharaj so that good sense prevails on the Governmentand it withdraws the proposed Act.
