Now ‘Love Jihad’ case in Bihar, girl forced to change her religion, pleads for justice

Bhagalpur (Bihar): A shocking case of 'Love Jihad' has been reported here, in Bihar where a 14-year-old student was kidnapped and forced to change her religion. She was threatened that if she resists, her family will be killed and she will be sold in the red light area. She was forced to read Quran and compelled to eat things which are taboo in Hindu tradition.
 
The incident is of April 30, when according to the victim, the boy and his parents, with the help of Molyi changed her religion and forced her for nigha.
 
After giving her CBSE exam the victim visited her native village where she was kidnapped. Later she was rescued by the police. At that time she refused that she was kidnapped. But now she has given a new statement in the police and appealed for justice.
 
FIR is lodged against the boy, who is a minor, and his other family members. Boy is in child detention centre.
 
The girl somehow managed to escape from the boy's home and contacted village head who in turn reported the matter to the police.
 
The victim said she used to go for coaching and there she was followed by the boy who pressed her for marriage. After the exam he went to her native village and boy reached there too.
 
He used to call on my cell, she said.
 
Victim said on the night of April 30, he called her for a normal meeting and when she went to meet him, the boy forcefully compelled her to sit inside car and took her away. 
 
Victim's mother alleged that the cops are helping the culprits.
 
"We have not got any compliant form the girl side.  When we will get it, all necessary actions will be taken" said Vivek Kumar, SSP, Bhagalpur.
