Concern over attack on temple priests

Chennai: The Tamilnadu Brahmin Association (TAMBRAS) has expressed "anguish and anger over the attack on Brahmins particularly temple priests at Thanjavur."

In a statement, State vice-president of the association S. Ramakrishnan said Brahmins were in no way connected with the damaging of Periyar statue. It urged the Government to put an end to such attacks on members of the community.
