‘There is need to follow teachings of Adya Shankaracharya to maintain integrity of the country’

Gaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) : Adya Shankaracharya strived for establishment of Dharma. His efforts for preserving integrity of this country are laudable. Unfortunately, today’s youth and rulers have forgotten about the mission undertaken by Shankaracharya. Considering the condition of country and Dharma today, treading on the path shown by Shankaracharya and becoming active is very much essential. The above views were expressed by Colonel Ashok Kini, the Chief of ‘Faith Foundation’. He was speaking in a program held at Chaudhary Chhabildas School, Gaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) on the occasion of Kalady to Kedar pilgrimage. This pilgrimage has been organized to re-establish the ‘samadhi’ of Adya Shankaracharya damaged during natural calamity which hit Kedarnath (Uttarakhand).

Shri. Raghavendra Chaudhary, the coordinator of this pilgrimage explained to students and teachers about activities undertaken by Adya Shankaracharya for Dharma. Pujya Shrimant Narayan Giri, international minister of Shri. Panchadashanaam old ‘Aakhaadaa’ was present on the occasion.

Shri. Gajanan Keskar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) explained about mission accomplished by Adya Shankaracharya of revival of Dharma and gave guidance on need for imparting ‘Dharma-shikshan’ to Hindus in the present times.

There were about 400 people including students, parents and teachers attending the program. After the program, a visit was arranged to ancient Dudheshwarnath Mahadev Temple.

Highlights

  1. Shri. Raghavendra Chaudhary presented sets of Sanatan’s ‘sattvik’ products to 50 dignitaries attending the program.
  2. An exhibition of Sanatan’s books and products was held at the venue which received good response from people. Shri. Raghavendra Chaudhary was appealing to people to visit the exhibition by explaining about activities of Sanatan.
