Withdraw the Ordinance immediately ! – pro-Hindu organizations


Congratulations to all pro-Hindu activists who have come together for their demand of cancellation of anti-superstitions Act !  

Jalgaon – Ordinance issued for Anti-superstitions Act which attacks seats of worship and faith of Hindus should be withdrawn was the demand made by pro-Hindu organizations in a press conference held here. Advocate Govind Tiwari of Hindu Mahasabha, H.B.P. Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Jalakekar of Warakari Sampradaya and Kum. Pratiksha Korgaonkar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) were present on the occasion.

Anti-superstitions Bill was pending for the past 18 years. This Bill has been prepared without taking into account opinion of Dharma-Gurus, religious organizations and Warakaris; therefore, such Ordinance should be immediately withdrawn. ‘Rashtreeya Hindu Andolan’ has started State-wide agitations to create awareness towards the Act and as a part of this agitation; a huge march will be taken out in Jalgaon on 7th December by pro-Hindu organizations and Sampradayas.

Devotees with faith demand cancellation of anti-superstitions Bill which is against Hindu Dharma !

Mumbai – The State Government has not considered suggestions given by religious organizations while amending the anti-superstitions Act and clauses against abidance of Dharma have been kept as it is; therefore, the Ordinance and related Bill should be cancelled. This demand was made by Rashtreeya Warakari Sena, Sri Yoga Vedanta Samiti, Durga Vahini Sangh (Ghatkopar), Yuva Hitakarini Sangh( Mahim), Yuva Seva Sangh (Vikroli), Shiva-Sai Mitra Mandal (Navi Mumbai), Swaraj Pratishthan and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, through separate representations submitted to the Chief Minister and Minister for Social Justice. These representations have been signed by thousands of religious citizens.

Demonstrations held outside Tehsildar’s office to protest against the Act

Malkapur (Dist. Kolhapur) – Under the initiative of ‘Rashtreeya Hindu Andolan’, demonstrations were held by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), BJP and Shiv Sena on 5th December at 11.00 a.m. outside Shahuwadi Tehsildar’s Office for their main demand of cancellation of anti-superstitions Act.

Representation submitted to Mangalvedha Tehsildar

Mangalvedha (Dist. Kolahpur) – Anti-superstitions Act pending for past 18 years should be cancelled was the demand made through a representation submitted to Tehsildar, Shri. Govind Sangade on behalf of Shiv Sena, Mangalvedha.

Representation by ‘Pujari Mandal’, Tuljapur

Tuljapur – Anti-superstitons Act should be cancelled once for all, was the demand made by various ‘Pujari Mandals’ at Sri Tuljabhavani Deva-sthana and charitable trusts through a representation submitted to Nayab Tehsildar, Shri. Chaure and he was requested to forward the same to the State Chief Minister.
