Impudence of management of Convent School

Sawantwadi (Maharashtra) : ‘Puja’ of Shri Saraswati Devi is not performed in Saint Francis Xavier’s English medium school at Ajgaon, Sawantwadi; therefore, 7 months back, parents of students studying in this school had given representation demanding ‘Saraswati-pujan’. The representation submitted by parents was, however, ignored and no reply was given to them. Few parents made enquiry about the status of their representation on 10th October when the management informed them that no decision was yet taken on the same. (Hindus should realize that Christians would never allow celebration of Hindu festivals in their schools and should, therefore, send their children to Hindu schools ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) The enraged parents went to the School on 11th October; but the management paid no heed to them. As a result, parents had to organize ‘puja’ of Shri Saraswati Devi in school veranda.  (Congratulations to parents, who organized ‘Shri Saraswati- pujan’, disregarding opposition of Christian management of the school ! Others should learn from this example ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

The management, however, prohibited teachers and students from going for ‘puja’ exhibiting their impudence. Parents, therefore, warned that they would not keep quiet till all Hindu festivals were not celebrated in the school if management continues to be rude to them. Police were deployed to maintain law and order.
