HJS effect : Sale of crackers with pictures of deities to be stopped in Sangli district

Commendable act of Sangli District Collector !

Sangli (Maharashtra) : Pictures of Deities and great revered personalities are printed on the covering of crackers. When crackers are burst, these pictures get torn to pieces leading to their desecration and hurting religious sentiments of Hindus; therefore, sale of such crackers should be banned. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has been submitting to district Collectors, representations to the above effect for past ten years. As a result, the District Collector’s Office will be putting a stamp on the license of sellers of crackers which will say that due action would be taken if crackers with pictures of Deities are found with them owing to the initiative of the Resident Dy. District Collector, Shri. Uttam Patil; with the permission of District Collector, Shri. Deependra Singh Kushwah.  (Congratulations to the Resident Dy. District Collector Uttam Patil and District Collector, Deependra Singh Kushwah, for taking initiative in prevention of denigration of Deities and great revered personalities after HJS submitting representations ! Other District Collectors can follow suit and prevent harm caused to Dharma ! A small organization like HJS can gain success because of its divine base. The District Collector has sent memorandum to the Chief Controller of Explosives, Nagpur, Indian Government and organizations of cracker-sellers in Tamil Nadu to take action on HJS representation. (Other District Collectors can take similar initiative ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) Follow up of the issue is going on at Administrative level. HJS also gave a representation to the District Collector about use of plastic national flags and he took note of the same. District Collector had sent the HJS representation to office of District Superintendant of Police instructing to take necessary action.

Writing on the stamp to be put on cracker-sellers’ licenses

‘There are pictures of Deities and great revered national personalities on fireworks which lead to their desecration. If such pictures are found in future, necessary action will be taken.’
