New Year procession taken out with great enthusiasm at Miraj

Miraj (Maharashtra) : On behalf of ‘Nava-varsha Swagat Samiti’, a welcome procession was taken out from Datta Chowk to Ganesha Mandir on Thursday morning. BJP, Shiv Sena, Sree Shiva-Pratishthan, Hindu Ekata Andolan, VHP, Bajarang Dal, RSS, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, Sanatan Sanstha and all other pro-Hindu organizations took part in the procession. ‘Puja’ of the ‘Gudhi’ was performed at Datta Chowk by Shri. Suresh Khade, BJP- MLA, Shri. Satish Saravade and Shri. Suhas Jagatap of HJS.  A prayer was also done by all. It was appealed through the procession to help famine-stricken people in view of drought in Sangli District. It was also being informed in the procession about where such help was being collected. Slogans acclaiming Prabhu Sriram, Bharatmata and Hindu Dharma were raised during the procession. Shri. Nitin Deshmane of RSS, Shri. Makarand Deshpande, Shri. Pandurang Kore, Dr. Bhalchandra Sathye, councilors of BJP and Shri. Sudhir Avasare, Sunil Dhobale etc. devout Hindus took part in the procession in large number.
