Ambernath : Picture of ‘Tulsi-vrundavan’ was printed on the front portion of plastic bags made for advertising of recently opened shoe shop by its owner in Sawant Arcade area named ‘Tulsi  Shoes’. ‘Tulsi’ plant is revered by all Hindus and is considered as auspicious in Hindu Dharma. It was, therefore, wrong to make such use of ‘Tulsi’. It was noticed by Mr. Prasad Karkhanis of Shiv Sena, Mr. Bhauji Utekar, a devout Hindu and Mr. Ulhas Chaudhary of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). They met the owner of the shop and explained to the owner that how such use of ‘Tulsi’ amounted to its desecration. The owner also agreed immediately and removed the picture of ‘Tusli’ from plastic bags.
