One more direct action taken by devout cow –revering Hindus from Goa !

Hindus, just think that how many cows must have been slaughtered to get 10,000 kgs of beef ?

Panaji (Goa): The police, with the help of devout Hindus, took into custody 9 cows and bulls, 64 pigs and more than 10, 000 kilograms of beef carried illegally from Belgaum. The market value of this beef is Rs. 10 million. The police have also confiscated 6 big vehicles used for the purpose and taken 8 persons into custody in this connection. This is the third time in the past 30 days that devout Hindus have helped in nabbing those transporting beef. The members of ‘Akhil Vishwa Jay Sriram Gosamvardhan Kendra’ from Nanus, Valpai, ‘Bharat Swabhiman’ and ‘Animal Rescue Squad’ were lying in ambush at the Check Post, Mole since early morning.

The group of devout Hindus included viz. Mr. Amrut Singh, Mr. Hanumant Parab, the President of Vishwa Go-samvardhan Kendra, Mr. Sunil Joshi, Mr. Kamalesh Bandekar, Mr. Anand Mayekar, Mr. Gajanan Bordekar, Mr. Kamalkant Tari, Mr. Sandip Pedanekar, Mr. Digambar Raut, Mr. Sandesh Kalangutkar, Mr. Anil Parsekar, Mr. Sunil Gaokar and Mr. Vitthal Naik of ‘Bharat Swabhiman’ who were lying in wait. (Congratulations to all these devout Hindus ! – Editor SP) They took action with the help of the police.

The drivers of the vehicles did not have permit to carry meat. In one of the vehicles, some cows and bulls were very cruelly locked up resulting in their sustaining serious injuries. After the ‘panchnama’ carried with the help of a doctor, police poured kerosene over the beef and burnt the same. The cows and bulls so confiscated were sent to ‘Panaji Animal Welfare Society’. One of the devout Hindus expressed a doubt that one vehicle had managed to flee to Karnataka.

Goa police had no idea that action could be taken against such illegal smuggling of beef which has been going on for past so many years

Smuggling of cattle and beef has been going on from Karnataka State for many years; but the police at Mole Check Post were not paying attention. A driver of one of the vehicles taken into custody told news channels that police used to take only Rs. 50-100 for entry of such vehicles.  It was observed by the devout Hindus that the police on duty at the check post had no knowledge that a permit was required to transport meat and which needed to be verified by them nor did they know under which clause of the Act, they can take action against the smugglers.  (This shows the kind of training imparted by the Government to the police. – Editor SP)
