Amazon selling masks with Indian National Flag print !

Amazon is selling face masks with Indian Flag printed on them. We all know that after the use of mask it will be thrown or washed. This is an insult to Indian National Flag and hurting the sentiments of Indians.

Previously, Amazon’s United States arm was selling shoes and shoe lace metal hoops bearing a likeness to the Indian tricolour. Also Amazon was selling Door mat with Indian flag printed on it and then the Indian government had called on the online shopping giant to respect Indian sensitivities and sentiments. After which Amazon had also apologised to then External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj for hurting the patriotic sentiments of the people by selling a doormats printed with the Indian flag.

Before this, @amazon was selling Indian Flag printed on shoes.

Now @amazonIN selling face masks with Indian Flag printed on them. We all know what would happen when we have discard our masks.

We would like to remind our readers that it is a punishable offence to misuse the National Flag of India under The Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971. So we appeal to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of External Affairs (Government of India) to impose the strictest penalties on Amazon along with an undertaking that such products will not be sold anywhere in India or abroad. Failing which, the Government of India should revoke Amazon’s license to participate in trade in the country.
