Miraj-Sangli (Maharashtra) : This year, ‘Trishul Mitra-Mandal (Mandal)’ celebrated Ganesh Festival in an ideal manner. The members of this ‘mandal’ do not collect money from people; but contribute from their own pockets for celebration of this festival. The idol of Lord Ganesh installed by this ‘mandal’ for worshiping is as per science. VCD on ‘ideal celebration of Ganesh Festival and present reality’ was regularly shown during this festival which mainly helped to create awareness amongst devotees. This is the 28^th year of celebration of this festival by this ‘mandal’. Shri. Pravin Sutar is the President of this ‘Mandal’ with Shri. Sagar Magdum as Vice-President, and Shri. Pravin Khobare and Shri. Avinash Khobare as office bearers. Few special features of this ‘Mandal’

1. As the first idol installed by the ‘Mandal’ was damaged, it was immediately immersed in water under the guidance of Sanatan Sanstha and they installed an another idol. 
 2. No politician is invited for any of the programs of this ‘Mandal’. Prasad (holy sacrament) is distributed by this ‘Mandal’ among the local residents. 
3. This ‘Mandal’ sponsored 100 copies of edition of ‘Dainik Sanatan Prabhat’ on love jihad. 
4. This ‘Mandal’ has requested to organize ‘Dharma-shikshan’ (Dharma-education) classes and self-defence training.

‘Mangalmurty Ganesh Mandal’ celebrates Ganesh festival in an ideal manner !

‘Mangalmurty Ganesha Mandal (Mandal)’ from Valave Lane, Miraj also celebrated Ganesh festival in an ideal manner. This ‘Mandal’ played only devotional songs throughout the festival. An Essay writing competition was held for school children during the festival and topics given for essay-writing were ‘Swarajya’, Ganesh Festival, ‘Yuga-Purush’ Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Present Environment etc. Small book on ‘Sattvik Rangoli’ published by Sanatan and its notebooks were given away as prizes. Sanatan’s VCD on Ganesh Festival was shown by this ‘Mandal’ during the festival and a lecture on the topic ‘Ganapati’ was also organized. This ‘mandal’ is celebrating Ganesh festival for the past 26 years. Shri. Vinod Hingmire is the President of this ‘Mandal’ with Shri. Vijay Hingmire and other 40 office bearers.
