Banglore (Karnataka):
The Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS) that has held Dharmajagruti Sabhas in Maharashtra and Goa and created mass awareness about the present sordid state of the Hindus is all set to take Karanataka by storm. It will hold Dharmajagruti Sabhas in 7 towns i.e. Belgaum, Gadag, Shirasi, Kaarkal, Bangalore, Mangaluru and Hubli. It will focus on various events of attack on Hindu dharma like the burning issue of Dattapeetham in Chikmagalur, Jihadi terrorism, government’s ploy to destroy Ram Setu, distortion of Bharat’s glorious history through the school books etc.

"The objective of the Sabha is to unify the Hindus and prepare them for protection of the nation and dharma," said Shri. Shivanand Prabhu, Samiti’s spokesperson for Karnataka state in a press conference here. When a reporter of a news channel ‘Udhya’ asked if the Sabhas were being arranged as a prelude to the ensuing elections in Karnataka, Shri. Prabhu said, "The Sabhas are not being arranged for the ensuing elections, but for protection of dharma. The Sabha will educate the people on how the political parties for their own selfish gains exploit the topic of ‘dharma’ during elections and how they give false assurances to the people. However, the leaders from various political parties who wish to do something for Hindu-activism (Hindutwa) may forget their differences and join the Sabhas." Present on the dais were Samiti’s district-spokesperson of Bangaluru Mrs. Pournima Prabhu and an ardent Hindu Shri. Jaykumar Hiremath.

Snippet :  A VCD about the present sordid state of Hindus was shown during the press conference. All the reporters saw it a with pin-drop silence. A reporter also asked whether he could get a copy of the VCD.
