Mumbai – ‘Upacap Equipment’, a firm that manufactures and supplies machinery required for automobile garages and vehicle servicing, has denigrated Bhagwan Shri Ganesh. In an promotional video created to market its products, the enterprise has depicted the Deity washing a motor car. This video has been widely circulated across social media platforms such as Facebook and YouTube.

In this video, Shri Ganesh along with his vahana, the mouse, are depicted in animated cartoon form. The clip shows the Deity inspecting the firm’s various machines. Further along in the video, Shri Ganesh is shown holding a pressure pump in his hands and washing a four-wheeler. The firm is headquartered in Patna in Bihar state, with suppliers distributed across every state.
- This blatant disrespect to Hindu sentiments by Upacap Equipment is completely unacceptable.
