Ujjain (MP) : The film ‘Oh My God 2’ in which Akshay Kumar, Yami Gautm, and Pankaj Tripathi have prominent roles is engulfed in controversy before its release. Advocate Abhilash Vyas has given a legal notice to Actor Akshay Kumar, Director Amit Rai, and Producer Vipul Shah on behalf of the priest of the Mahakal Temple. The priest says that the trailer of the film showed Bhagwan Shiva buying eatables. This film is to be released on the 11th of August. Not only this, the priest has sent a notice to the Chairman of the Censor Board Prasun Joshi. In the notice it is said that ‘within 24 hours of receiving the notice the objectionable scenes to be removed and a public apology to be made to the people.’

Priest Mahesh Sharma, Chairman of the ‘All India Priest Union’ and the priest of the Mahakal Temple said that Bhagwan Shiva has been portrayed wrongly in the film ‘Oh My God 2’. It has hurt the sentiments of the devotees of Deity Shiva.  For the devotees of Shiva, money is not important as the blessings of Deity Shiva are priceless. That is their greatest wealth.’
