Amravati, June 4 (Corr.) – Our Indian culture is great. Our culture teaches us to bow before mothers. It also teaches to show warrior spirit like that of Hanuman to prevent atrocities against our revered mother. Therefore, the institutions which forcibly teach the Bible to the children of Hindus should not take the tolerance of Hindus for granted, and should immediately remove the compulsion to teach the Bible from the Christian schools, said HBP  Madan Maharaj Tirmare of ‘Shri Gajanan Maharaj Seva Samiti’. He was speaking at the Hindu Rashtra-Jagruti Andolan organized by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti here. The devout Hindus who had assembled expressed their opposition to the mandatory Bible teaching in convent schools. The attendees raised slogans against this and also held placards about it.

Kolhapur District Coordinator of HJS Shri. Kiran Duse said, “We are opposed to the idea of teaching the Bible in educational institutions like schools when already there is a church system for teaching the Bible.”
