BJP MLA Professor (Sou.) Medha Kulkarni demands through a letter written to Law Commission and Charity Commissioner

Mumbai : BJP MLA Prof. (Sou.) Medha Kulkarni, representing Kothrud constituency, has written a letter to Law Commission and Charity Commissioner demanding stringent action against the persons guilty in mismanaging Shri Siddhivinayak Mandir Trust, Prabhadevi, Mumbai. Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad (HVP) had given to her detailed information, along with proofs, about the misappropriation of funds of this Temple-Trust. Based on this information, MLA (Sou.) Medha Kulkarni has sent letters to Law Commission and Charity Commissioner.

In February 2018, ‘Shri Siddhivinayak Mandir Trust anti-corruption Kruti Samiti (action committee)’ first exposed the fraud through press conference. Relevant proofs have been submitted to the State Government by this ‘action committee’. Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) had also held press conference in July 2018 and brought forth corrupt practices before media-persons. HJS has made serious accusation against the Trust that more number of workers have been appointed than as per the norms set by the Government; thus looting money. The relevant proofs and papers have already been submitted by HJS to the Chief Minister and State Law and Justice Department.
