Citizens who take pride in their Nation (Rashtrabhimani) submit a representation to the Dy. District Collector against NCERT at Gurgaon (Haryana)

Gurgaon (Haryana): In NCERT text books, Maharana Pratap and Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj have been given no importance and there is undue glorification of Mughal Rulers. This glorification should be stopped and students must be taught true and inspirational history. A representation to the above effect was submitted by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) to Mr. Rajendrakumar Kataria, the Deputy District Collector of Gurgaon and Mr. Yashendarji, the Mayor. The Deputy District Collector assured that he would send the controversial book to his seniors for necessary action.

The representation was submitted in the presence of a few eminent personalities viz. Mr. Suresh Sethi, District Chief President of VHP for Gurgaon, Acharya Giriraj Sharma, the President of Patanjali Yoga Peetha, Mr. Shrirama Kane of HJS, Mrs. Preeti Ghogare of Sanatan Sanstha and 15 devout Hindus.
