Meeting to organize procession to welcome New Year ‘Gudhi Padva’

Rasayani (Maharashtra) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) observed Martyr Day of revolutionaries viz. Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev in a program held in Sri Sai Mandir at Mohopada, Rasayani in Raigad District. Sarpanch Bhagyashree Pawar of Shiv Sena from Wasambe, Mohopada garlanded pictures of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, paying homage to them. On the occasion of this Day, activities of HJS were started at Mohopada, Rasayani.

Meeting to organize procession to welcome New Year ‘Gudhi Padva

Malhar Pratishthan group, Rasayani and HJS jointly organized a meeting to plan procession to be taken out on 11th April, the day of  ‘Gudhi Padva’, for welcoming of Hindus’ New Year. The time of procession, its route etc. was unanimously decided besides deciding to make an appeal to people to join the procession in their traditional attire. It is the first time, such procession is being organized at Mohopada, Rasayani, and therefore, everyone attending the meeting was very enthusiastic and happy for organizing such procession. It was decided to propagate about the procession in nearby areas in Rasayani so that maximum number of Hindus will participate in the procession. The meeting was attended by about 25 persons; Malhar Group’s S/Shri. Sudhir Patil, Nitesh Baviskar, Sachin Kedari and Kiran Khane, ‘Purogami Yuvak Sanghatana’s Shri. Jagadish Pawar, PWP’s Shri. Parashuram Mhatre and Shri. Baliram Jambhale, Shiv Sena’s former Sarpanch from Wasambe, Mohopada, Shri. Ramchandra Mundhe, Shri. Vinod Sawant, Sai Mandir Devsthan’s Shri. Rajendra Pore, Mrs. Vasudha Sahastrabuddhe and Mrs. Bina Rege of ‘Sphurti Mahila Mandal’, Shri. Bhaskar Patil of ‘Sree Sampradaya’, Shri. Vikas Joshi and Jayesh Mhaiskar of Sanatan Sanstha and S/Shri. Parashuram Mhatre, Pankaj Jadhav, Digambar Nagose and Shrikrushna Upadhye of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti with devout Hindus.
