Yet another corporate jihad case; this time at an insurance company in Pune

Manager Jafar Syed harasses 27 year old Hindu employee

Pune, Maharashtra – A case involving the molestation, obscene conversations, and harassment of a young Hindu woman working at a well-known insurance establishment named ‘Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company’ in Aundh has come to light. In this matter, the manager, Mohammad alias Jafar Syed, has been arrested by the Hinjewadi police. This case has onvce again raised questions regarding the safety of women working in these sectors.

The accused, Jafar, holds a high position and is the manager of the branch. He used to call the victim on the phone for personal matters outside of work. While speaking with the victim, the accused used highly obscene language and subjected her to mental harassment by conversing in a manner intended to outrage her modesty.

One day, on the pretext of work, he took her to Lonavala. There, he attempted to behave inappropriately with her.

Distressed by this perverted behaviour of her senior officer, the victim lodged a complaint at the Hinjewadi police station.

Editorial Perspective
Recent incidents across various sectors demonstrate how 'corporate jihad' continues to threaten Hindu employees nationwide. It is high time that government authorities look into these serious offenses and investigate whether there is a broader, organised conspiracy aimed at the exploitation and forced religious conversion of Hindu women in corporate environments.
