An initiative of the ‘Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’ in cooperation with ‘Shri Samartha Seva Mandala’
Empowering the next generation: Hindu youth vow to protect and promote Dharma at sacred Sajjangad

Satara, Maharashtra – A ‘Hindu Dharmasanskar Camp’ was held at the holy place of Sajjangad to nurture a generation of youth devoted to the nation and Dharma, who form the pillars of the country. A residential camp was organised from 25th to 27th May by the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in cooperation with the Shri Samartha Seva Mandala here.
More than 70 young men and women from Satara, Sangli, Pune, and Mumbai districts participated in this camp. The camp blessed by the revered presence of Sanatan Sanstha’s Dharmapracharak Sadguru Swati Khadye. The camp commenced with the lighting of the ritual lamp by Vinayakbuva Ramdasi of ‘Shri Samartha Seva Mandala’, Hemant Sonawane of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, and Smt. Vidya Kadam of Sanatan Sanstha.

Fort circumambulation and the pledge to establish Ramrajya
To ensure the campers understood the religious and historical significance of the holy place of Sajjangad, Suhasbuva Ramdasi of ‘Shri Samartha Seva Mandala’ guided them through a Gadpradaksina (circumambulation of the fort). On this occasion, information was provided to the campers about the Kalyan Udi Smarak, Brahmpisa Smarak, Dhab्याचा Maruti, Mangalaidevi Temple, Shejghar, and the Samadhi Temple. After the circumambulation, the campers bowed in reverence at the Samadhisthali (resting place) of Rashtraguru Samartha Ramdas Swami. At this time, all the campers took a pledge to establish Ramrajya before Prabhu Shri Ramraya, in the spiritual presence of Samartha.
The ‘Shri Samartha Seva Mandala’ made excellent arrangements for the accommodation and Mahaprasad of the attending campers.

Guidance by eminent speakers
During the camp, Sanatan Sanstha’s Dharmapracharak Sadguru Swati Khadye, Smt. Vidya Purohit of ‘Shri Samartha Seva Mandala’, youth organiser of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Shri. Niranjan Chodankar, Smt. Bhakti Daphale, Smt. Rupa Mahadik, and Shri. Mangesh Nikam, along with other dignitaries, guided the campers. Invaluable guidance was provided during the camp on inspiring incidents from the lives of Rashtraguru Samartha Ramdas Swami, Hindavi Swarajya founder Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Swami Vivekananda, and Swatantryaveer Savarkar, as well as on Hindu Deities, national heroes, holy scriptures, the spiritual significance of ancient India, Hindu brave women (Veerangana), and the importance of Dharmashikshan (education on Dharma).
Imparting cultural values through self-defence training, and posters on revolutionaries and Dharmashikshan
To make the campers physically, mentally, and spiritually strong, Shri. Vaibhav Kshirsagar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti gave lessons in self-defence training through Balopasana (worship of strength). At the camp venue, an exhibition of educational posters on the lives of revolutionaries and Hindu Dharmashikshan was set up. These exhibitions received a spontaneous response from the campers and the devotees visiting the fort.

Expression of gratitude for the cooperation of ‘Shri Samartha Seva Mandala’ at the holy place of Sajjangad
The ‘Shri Samartha Seva Mandala’ made excellent arrangements for the accommodation and dining (Mahaprasad) of the attending campers. Special cooperation was received from Samartha devotees Pujya Yogeshbuva Ramdasi, Subhashbuva Ramdasi, Vinayakbuva Ramdasi, and Shri. Suresh Kadam. As this camp proved to be a milestone in creating a young generation that protects and promotes God, the country, and Dharmasanskar, the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti expressed its thanks and gratitude towards the ‘Shri Samartha Seva Mandala’.
