Crucial to dismantle the ‘Halal Economy’ which is crippling the Indian Economy!

‘Halal Tax’ is nothing but ‘Jizya Tax’ imposed on Hindus! – Ramesh Shinde

KOLHAPUR : It has come to light that the ‘Kolhapur District Cooperative Milk Producers Union’, popularly known as ‘Gokul’, has obtained a ‘Halal Certificate’. The organization issuing this certificate, ‘Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind’, is legally defending more than 700 accused terrorists, and this money is being collected through those who opt for these certificates. Utilizing ‘Gokul’s’ funds for ‘Halal’ by keeping ordinary farmers in the dark is a gross betrayal of lakhs of farmers. The Halal economy, which started in 2013, has scaled up globally to a staggering 2.1 Trillion US Dollars (Rs 179.6 Lakh Crore). The ‘Halal Tax’ extracted from the pockets of Hindus is virtually a modern-day ‘Jizya Tax’. To safeguard the nation, it is imperative to dismantle this parallel economy and make India ‘Halal-Free’, asserted Shri. Ramesh Shinde, National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.

He was addressing a press conference held in Kolhapur. The event was attended by Shri. Gajanan Gurav (Hindu Ekta Andolan), Shri. Niranjan Shinde (Founder, Maharaja Pratishthan), Shri. Yogesh Kerker (‘Maratha Tituka Melvava’), Shri. Sambhajirao Bhokare (Deputy District Chief, Shiv Sena – UBT), Shri. Shivanand Swami (Hindu Janajagruti Samiti), Shri. Kishor Ghatge (Shiv Sena), and Shri. Ashok Gurav (Deputy District Chief, Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh).

Shri. Ramesh Shinde pointed out that Maharashtra is the 5th largest milk-producing state in India. However, the state itself faces a shortage of 2.5 million liters of milk daily against total demand. In such a scenario, what is the necessity to export milk? When 192 countries globally recognize the ‘Food Safety and Standards Authority of India’ (FSSAI), why is India validating a religion-based ‘Halal Certification’? When FSSAI certifies a product as completely vegetarian after rigorous testing, why bypass its authority for an alternative certificate?

Initially restricted to ‘meat’, Halal certification has now aggressively expanded to daily essentials including milk, sugar, tulsi extracts, dating apps, residential projects, and the stock market. Almost every commodity purchased by Hindus is directly or indirectly supporting the Halal economy. The Halal framework strictly caters to Islamic religious sentiments. It offers absolutely no assurance or guarantee that products related to the holy cow (such as beef derivatives) will not be utilized or intermingled.
