Goa : AGMSS organises an idol desecration exhibition

Ponda (Goa): The Akhil Goa Mandir Suraksha Samiti (AGMSS), which is instrumental in curbing the rising incidents of desecration of idols of Hindu Deities and Saints had organised an exhibition displaying idol desecration incidents in Goa. This exhibition was held in the premises of Sree Navadurga Devasthan in the last week of August. More than 600 people who visited the exhibition were made aware of the above subject.

AGMSS has prepared this exhibition to create awareness among the masses regarding the danger posed to Hindu temples. This exhibition consists of 16 boards displaying pictures of desecrated idols; also containing statistical information about all such incidents that have occurred in the past. Shri. Premanand Kamat, President of Sree Navadurga Devasthan praised the mission of the AGMSS and asserted that this information should reach to the masses at large.

An appeal to create mass awareness through the exhibition
